I help busy women lose weight without restriction or spending hours in the gym. I want to help you achieve your weight loss goals so you can look and feel your best and also be able to keep up with your busy lifestyle.

MY STORY

Even though 2020 was a challenging year, it was also the best year of my life because of the birth of my daughter. I was adjusting to life as a new mom and it was the first time I’ve struggled with my weight. I thought it would be easy to bounce back quickly because I haven’t had issues with my weight in the past but I was wrong. I gained 50 pounds while I was pregnant and I had about 35 pounds to lose once I was able to start training again. With my background in nutrition, I knew that the stress of being a new mother, lack of sleep, and imbalanced hormones were all contributing to my inability to lose weight.

Although this is the first time I’ve struggled with my weight, I’ve done all the restrictive diets while training for bikini competitions and as a result of the restriction and overexercising, this contributed to slow metabolism and imbalanced hormones. I wasn’t getting the results I wanted and I didn’t understand why. I thought I was doing all the right things. I didn’t realize that the stress was causing imbalance in my body.

All of these experiences and struggles over the years led me to figure out what I needed to do to lose 35 pounds after having a baby while keeping up with my hectic lifestyle. The chaos, stress and my goals weren’t going anywhere anytime soon, especially with a new baby so I had to figure out how to harness my stress hormones and make them work for fat loss and maintenance. This is why the conventional way of weight loss doesn’t work for you either. In order to lose the weight and keep it off there are many factors that need to be addressed. That’s why it’s my mission to help women like you to lose weight without the all or nothing approach and taking into consideration nutrition and exercise while still eating the foods you love!


Professional Background

Rachel graduated from the Institute of Holistic Nutrition where she received her destination CNP, Certified Nutritional Practitioner. She also obtained her diploma at George Brown College where she studied Health and Fitness Promotion and Certified Personal Trainer through CSEP.
